Frequently asked questions
Can I add the whole list without checking it?
Please don't. Every business sells something slightly different. A term that's waste for one plumber is a real job for another, so read the list and remove anything you offer.
Which match type should I use for negatives?
Phrase match is a sensible default for most of these terms: it blocks any search containing the phrase. Negative broad match can block more than you expect, and exact match blocks only that exact search.
Will these lists catch every wasted search?
No. They're a starting point for common patterns. The searches actually wasting your budget are in your own search terms report — that's what the free audit checks.
